Zergratran's Puerto International Las Americas (PILA) project in northern Colombia will use an underground tunnel and cutting edge technology to transfer shipping containers between
ports on the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
Our Maglev and linear induction
propulsion based technology is entirely electric and non-polluting.
PILA will use the
full-scale Maglev carriers to transport containers in
between North Atlantic and North Pacific.
We are witnessing the unprecedented crisis in shipping and global trade. World wide sea trade is experiencing rapidly growing demand, but is very stressed with increasing port congestions, prices, shortages, and risks: e.g. the Ever Green incident in the Suez Canal. Many, including the G7 nations, are now predicting that the situation will take years of coordinated effort to sort out the problem.
Due to the continuous push for higher GDPs and efforts to reduce the burning of fossil fuel to prioritise sustainability and the impacts of man-related climate change – there is an urgent need to introduce a fully sustainable, zero-emission solution for global shipping and transportation.
Our Solution, PILA - the “Green Gateway”, is a tunnel that will use Maglev technology to transport goods faster, cheaper and more efficiently. PILA will add a new container shipping route across the Central America region. It will be the focal point of a system wide efficiently upgrade that is driven by automation, containerization, digitization, technology and connections to neighboring port facilities.
Pre-Feasibility:
(9 –12 months, $5 Million)
Approved by The National Infrastructure Agency of Colombia (ANI)
to conduct Pre-Feasibility Study, given conditional approval to move forward
with Feasibility, and told that we could be included in the national budget
after Pre-Feasibility, which would allow us to sell government backed bonds to
raise the funds for Feasibility and Construction.
Feasibility:
(12 –18 months, $500 Million)
Construction: (6 years, 15 Billion)
PILA will utilize existing technologies including automated port systems, tunnel boring machines, maglev, rail, untethered robot cranes, container scanning, clean energy power generation, battery storage, etc.
Zergratran is ready to move forward with Pre-Feasibility and has conditional approval for Feasibility.
Annual revenues of $15 billion plus will come from:
container, port, and pipeline fees;
brick, excavations, minerals and water sales;
and hydroelectric, solar and wind energy electricity genaration.
The proceeds from the offering will be used to continue the process and complete project planning, financial modeling, defining externalities, adding technology details and completing the Pre-Feasibility submission requirements.
Phase two will require $500 million in financing.
We will look to sell high yield government backed bonds with a coupon and pro-rata dividend based on profitability.
Phase three will require $15 Billion in financing and the sale of additional bonds.
Imagine
a 13,000+ TEU container ship that can’t pass through the Panama Canal unloads
at our North Pacific port. We transfer the containers across to our North
Atlantic port in 15 minutes using an underground tunnel.
Currently,
regional ships are waiting at port take the containers onward to the US, Gulf,
Eastern ports and Europe.
60% of ships return west to Asia mostly empty.
Zergratran’s
PILA solution allows for faster and more efficient distribution of the
containers. It enables the empty ships to be filled with containers from South
America, thus creating higher profitability for manufacturers, freight
forwarders, retailers, etc. and ultimately benefiting each of us as consumers
by lowering the prices of the products we purchase.
Another huge
benefit of this shipping model is that by shortening the length of time a
container is on a ship, it drastically reduces fuel usage and creates a
sustainable shipping model.
This new “Green Gateway” transportation system will have huge positive impacts across the global economy. These include increasing profits for small, medium and large sized businesses, to improving logistics and the efficiency of the entire supply chain.
Based on our research, PILA project will be contributing to the global supply chain and logistic profitability:
